I purchased one for my grandson who wanted to know more about the Black heritage. He is in the 5th grade and is familiar with his maternal side of the family but wanted more information on the paternal (black) side of the family heritage. He had to do an essay and guess what, yes, the calendar helped him prepare for his subject matter. I am looking forward to purchasing one for my home and another one for him. He is actually saving them as a collection!!

The calendars are GREAT! [I purchased a 2010 Black Facts Calendar for ALL of the teachers at the high school I work at]. My teacher's really appreciate what they have to offer our students. The calendar sparks discussions, especially in the History classrooms. What a great way for ALL students to learn about the African American Culture on a regular basis.
